We are a group of local people of all ages, who love our beautiful countryside and appreciate what the National Trust does to protect it, our main aim is to raise money for the NT and enjoy ourselves at the same time.
We meet once every two weeks during the autumn and spring for talks on a wide range of subjects, such as “ Fabulous Faberge”; “Wild Britain” an eye opening journey around the country seeing birds, animals and wonderful views;“ Windsor Castle” some of the history of our best loved castle; a Harp recital by the gifted harpist Margaret Watson and many other topics.
We visit a range of nearby NT properties and other places of interest on Outings during the summer and we have a New Year Lunch, a Spring Lunch and a Christmas Tea. We have a 5 day coach holiday each year, visiting places of general interest and NT properties all around the UK.
If you would like more information on how to join us (you don't have to be a NT member to join),please call our membership secretary on 01273 562404 or just ring to find out where and when we next meet and come for a taster. We would love to see you.
